Jeremy Smith, owner and founder of Smith Home Inspections LLC, enjoys spending time at and around beautiful Smith Mtn. Lake. Whether its wakeboarding, riding bikes, church activities, playing golf or just hanging out on the dock with family and friends, most weekends you can find him there. 

His career started in 1999 when he first started working for a well known, Top 500, and locally and family owned construction and remodeling company. It was there where he started to learn all aspects of the construction industry: serving as a field helper, moving into a lead superintendent role, to serving as the service manager, to a top producing salesman. The last 8 years were spent as the residential division manager where his responsibilities included managing the construction and remodeling of all jobs sold, managing employees, subcontractors and vendors along with other duties. 

His career in home inspections began first with gaining knowledge and understanding of construction and remodeling during the last two decades. He studied and became certified through the teaching of Inspector Certification Associates (I.C.A.) school. He is also a certified home inspector through InterNACHI  (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) and carries a New Residential Structures (NRS) certification where he is able to inspect new construction homes.
